Introduction to the Collaboration Between Sinoaid Health Promotion Center and the Minimally Invasive Interventional Therapy Center of Tongji University Affiliated East Hospital (Oncology)

Sinoaid Health Promotion Center, established in 2014, is a non-profit AAA-level social organization registered with the Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau, under the guidance of the National Health Commission. It is dedicated to promoting global standards for public health and safety education, and eliminating health threats caused by information asymmetry. Sinoaid is the first non-profit organization in mainland China to obtain the UK Social Enterprise Certification (2018), a member of the American National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (2019), and an authorized training center of the American Heart Association. Upholding the core values of sharing, mutual assistance, collaboration, and dissemination, it provides high-quality health promotion services to the public. In 2023, Sinoaid was awarded the Silver Award of the American Heart Association China Recognition Award, recognizing its outstanding contributions to health education and first aid training.

We are proud to announce our collaboration with the Minimally Invasive Interventional Therapy Center of Tongji University Affiliated East Hospital (Oncology) to jointly establish the “Sinoaid-East Minimally Invasive Health Studio.” The studio aims to provide professional health public welfare consulting services for enterprises and institutions, promote cutting-edge minimally invasive treatment knowledge for tumors and peripheral vascular diseases, assist in early disease screening and treatment, support enterprises in fulfilling their social responsibility, and contribute to the construction of a healthy China.

The Minimally Invasive Interventional Therapy Center of Tongji University Affiliated East Hospital (Oncology) was established in December 2024, led by Professor Zhai Bo, a leading figure in the field of tumor interventional therapy in China, chief physician, and doctoral advisor. The center focuses on minimally invasive interventional treatment of malignant and benign tumors of solid organs and peripheral vascular diseases. The center's team has established a systematic treatment system in areas such as tumor local ablation, vascular intervention, and particle implantation. It innovatively integrates drugs, radiation therapy, and surgical techniques, and has developed new technologies for complex tumors, such as laparoscopic-assisted ablation, vascular intervention combined with targeted immunotherapy, significantly improving patient quality of life. The team has completed the world's first CAR-T cell treatment clinical research for hepatocellular carcinoma and explored new pathways for "dual-target drug" treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma, demonstrating cutting-edge scientific research and clinical capabilities. The center's initial ward is located in the North Branch of East Hospital, gathering top experts from many Shanghai-tier-one hospitals. It has published over 200 high-quality papers, undertaken more than 30 national and provincial projects, and received multiple patents and awards.

The establishment of the “Sinoaid-East Minimally Invasive Health Studio” aims to meet the health management, disease prevention, and cutting-edge medical knowledge dissemination needs of enterprises and institutions through systematic health public welfare consulting services. The studio will rely on Sinoaid's rich experience in health promotion and international platform, combined with the advanced technology and professional team of the East Hospital Minimally Invasive Center, to launch the following services:
